The Bunker is Montreal's largest overnight shelter for minors. That may not sound like much but, until the Bunker opened, if you were a runaway, had been kicked out of your home or you simply had no home, there was no place in the city where you could spend the night safely.

Located in one of downtown Montreal's roughest neighborhoods, the Bunker provides a safe haven where street kids can decompress and escape criminals and predators who often prey on them, where they can reassess the choices they've made and access counselling and other services.

The Bunker got its' name from the kids as a result of a contest initiated by Pops and is staffed day and night by trained, professional counsellors. The counsellors are there to listen, open up real lines of communication and then help kids access services that can help them survive the streets and build better lives.
